What media institution will distribute my product?

There are different ways in which science fiction movies have become franchises; for example Star Wars and Star Trek with their films, TV Series, website, toys, games etc. This made a relationship between the institution and the audience and it produces a bigger audience
I am going to check the institutions that disrupted similar products to me. I am going to use some of the products that I have already used in the research and planning part.
1. Anna (Mindscape)- the main distributor for this movie is Warner Bros and it was first released in Spain on January 24, 2014. It is also distributed by StudioCanal and Vertical Entertainment
  1. From researching the movies that I done the textual anaylsis there is no one definite distributor that distrupted sci-fi movies. However the movie that made the larget amount of money was De ja vu making a large amount of $180,557,550
2. Deja vu film- This movie had one distributor which is Buena Vista Pictures
3. Extracted- This is another movie that only had one distributor and that is Phase 4 Films
4. Source Code- This movie was distributed by Summit Entertainment
From doing further research on science fiction movies and their distributors it is very easy to see that there are many different institutions that distribute movies. Some examples are: Walt Disney Studios, Motion Pictures, 20th Century Fox and the institutions on the research of the textual analysis movies. I think that a large cooperation would distribute my product because there is a lack of dialogue and this makes it universal. It is also really to understand the narrative. The institution that would distribute my product would be Warner Bros. Warner Bros has really good contacts with other companies and it a world wide company. This would mean that they would be able to distribute my movie across the cinemas very easily.They are also well known for their video games this would be good for my product because if it sells really well there could be a line of video games that come through and this would increase my revenue.

An institution is a company that disperses a media product for audience consumption. The movie can then be distributed in cinemas (internationally or nationally depending on how successful/ big the institution), it can also be sold to shops through DVD’s.
