Rates of Reactions Mind Map
  1. Tempreture
    1. Statement: The Tempreture of a reaction is able to effect the rate of the reaction's processes
      1. Explanation: If a reaction's tempreture changes it has the potential to speed up the reaction's rate. For example if a reaction is heated it could increase the speed that the processes in the reaction take place.
      2. Proportions of Reactants
        1. Statement: The proportions of chemicals has the capability of changing the rate of a reaction.
          1. Explanation: For example if you were doing a reaction with a higher proportion of one reactant could skew your final results compared to if you had an equal amount of all reactants.
          2. Pressure
            1. Statement: A change in pressure can also change the rate at which a reaction takes place.
              1. Explanation: For example if a reaction's environment is under a higher pressure a reaction might allow the reaction to speed up.
              2. Catalysts
                1. Statement: A catalyst is used as a alternative path for a reaction to develop.
                  1. Explanation: A catalyst would effect the reaction as it could offer a alternative route for the reaction which could be faster or slower then without the catalyst before.
