    1. JFK sent naval blockade to Cuba
      1. Soviet ships were getting closer to US ships whilst talks went on with Krushchev and JFK

        2. Soviets would dismantle the weapon sites in exchange for a pledge from the United States not to invade Cuba
          1. Cuba abandoned by countries that supported her in the revolution, turned to Russia for aid. Russia agreed to give Cuba oil, and buy sugar at a guaranteed price. Cuba would agree to let Russia use the island to 'spy' on the US, and plant a military base there
