6:10th October: Central Comm pledges self to armed insurrection
7: 23rd October
1. Keresnky pre-mature: Zinoviev, Kamenev write article: bluff, mistake to overthrow PG. Closes down Pravda/izvestiya-Bolsh roundup.
  1. Lenin calls for armed insurecc central comm- they agree
8: 24th-25th, Bolsheviks take control of Petrograd
9: 25th to 27th
1. PG's garrison just Cossacks and Amazons-desertion
  1. No res at Winter Pal, Red guards back doors. All resistance stood down
    1. Aurora fires signal on Neva- PG flee at this point
10th: 27th October
1. Bolsh take power

    1. New gov: 14 Bolsh/ LEFT Sr's
