    1. Helps them to feel like good muslims as they're following direct word of Allah
      1. Feel reassured that god is always watching over them
        1. Fear because of gods omnipresence, nowhere to hide from god
          1. The concept that god is everywhere
        2. Actions
          1. They'll bring their children up differently according to how the Qur'an teaches
            1. Less likely to shirk because its a constant reminder of Allah and the way they should live their lives
              1. Shirk is an act of sin
              2. the Qur'an teaches about AKhirah therefore Muslims will act how Allah teaches in preparation for their judgement
                1. Life after death
              3. Communtiy
                1. As every Muslim is following the same holy book and teaching it could strengthen the Ummah and create a sense of equality
                  1. Muslim community nationally or internationally
                  2. Can create divisions between different groups of muslims as they may interpret the teachings of the Qur'an differently for examply Sunni and Shia
