Bar Codes
- Very quick way of putting numerical data into a computer
- Bar codes are read by a laser. Also a computer can only read zero's or ones.
- First number in the bar code is the
product type.
- After the first number the next 5 numbers are the
manufactures.
- After the manufacture numbers the next 5 are the product code.
- The last number is the check digit, it can have the price product.
