Energy - Part 1
  1. Energy can be transferred in different ways:
    1. Electricity
      1. Heating
        1. Forces
          1. Light
            1. sound
            2. Energy can also be stored; for example thermal energy is stored in hot things. Chemical energy is stored in food, fuels and celles and kinetic energy is stored i moving things.
              1. Some more examples include; gravitational potential energy being stored in high up things, strain energy being stored in streched things and nucleur energy being stored inside
              2. energy is measured in joules (J) or kilojoules (KJ)
                1. A kilojoule is 1000 joules
                2. Energy cannot be destroyed, but can only be transferred from one place to another. This is the law of conservation of energy
                  1. Not all energy is transferred usefully. Often it is turned into heat we cannot use. This is wasted energy.
                    1. Light bulbs transfer alot of wasted energy.
