                            1. STATISTICAL DEFINITION OF ABNORMALITY: Behaviour that is statistically rare is said to be abnormal. IQ is often given as a working example of the definition.
                                1. SOCIAL NORMS DEFINITION OF ABNORMALITY: Behaviour that follows the social norms is said to be normal and behaviour that does not is abnormal. Culture, situation, gender and age, must be taken into consideration when making a judgement. Norms are social rules that people abide by, if people do not follow such rules then it is seen as 'abnormal'.
