Mise-en scene analysis of Paranormal activity.

In certain scenes you can see the intensity of the changing of lighting to dull, to then extremely dark, to create maximum effect throughout the scenes for the audience.
Paranormal activity is a reliable source to do with a horror film as the shadows they keep showing are symbols of horror and create more of a sense of darkness and scariness through all scenes.
In one of the scenes in paranormal activity, a woman is wearing a white top, and even though white stereotypically connote purity, the way she is standing conveys a threatening manner and promotes the image of horror even more.
In another one of the scenes in this film, it shows in a scene a time of 12.04am, and at this time a woman is hovering over a man while he is asleep, this coveys an uncomfortable and a sinister atmosphere which is good for the audience as it creates much effect.
