  1. Absolute liability
    1. Where the defendant has no control over their cations but still remain at fault as seen in the case of R v Larsounner
    2. Strict liability
      1. Where no mens rea is required and are simply put at fault straight away such as speeding being a strict liability offence.

      2. Voluntary intoxication - you are automatically liable if you are intoxicated due to recklessness.
