The job of this system is to carry oxigen and nutrients arouns the body. it also carries away the waste materials.An adult human heart is about the size of a man´s fist. It is divided in four chambers ( left and right atrium and left and right ventricle)Arteries and veins are the tbes that carry the blood around the body. Each time the heart beats to pump the blood. This is your pulse.When you are resting your heart beats about 70 times a minute. When your are doing exercise your herat beats more than twice as quickly as when you are resting.
