This note provides an overview of renewable and non-renewable energy resources. It can be used as a follow-on from the corresponding mind map "Work, Energy & Power" or as a stand alone resource. It is aimed at a Leaving Certificate student, or someone who has an interest in energy sources.

Nuclear fuels:Uranium oil

Energy from the sun: Fusion (a nuclear reaction) involves small nuclei combining to form larger ones This process involves a loss of mass, with the lost mass being converted to energy Roughly 4 billion kg of mass is converted to energy every second in the sun
