Haemoglobin
Haemoglobin is found in red blood cells
It has a quaternary structure
It's role is to transport oxygen around the body-each haemoglobin molecule can carry 4 oxygen molecules
Oxyhaemoglobin is formed in the lungs, and the oxygen is released in the respiring tissues
Different sequences of amino acids result in different affinities to oxygen
