What do we learn from this part of the ayah? "And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all"
Those who have pious parents will be saved on that day
We need to have pious children to be saved on that day
We shouldn’t stop doing good deeds thinking that others will help us
What are the two conditions that must be there for one to get intercession of the Prophet (saw), or the angels, or the Quran….?
Allah must allow the intercessor to intercede
Allah must be pleased with the person on who’s behalf the intercession is being sought.
One must be from the time of Prophet's (saw) companions to get intercession
Why was Ibrahiim (as) made a friend of Allah?
He carried out all of the commands he was given, despite the fact that they were difficult for him.
He was from the family of Prophets
He made dua to Allah to be chosen
These are some of the reason why Allah puts us through tests?
To burden us.
To show how patient we are over the decisions of Allah (SWT)
It is a means of purifying us.
(Ayah 125) What did Allah command Ibrahiim and Ismail (as) to do?
To clean the house of Allah
To invite people to Islam
To build the Kaaba
[Ayah 126] These were included in the dua Ibrahiim (as) made.
He asked Allah to make Makkah a secure city
He asked Allah to provide the people of Makkah with fruits
He asked for pious children
When Ibrahiim (as) was raising the foundations of the House with Ishmael (as), they made dua to Allah to accept their deed. What lesson do we learn from this?
We should be worried about the acceptance of our good deeds
We should talk about the good deeds we do
We should be proud of our good deeds
What messenger was sent as a result of the dua Ibrahiim (as) made in ayah 129?
We should make dua for others as we see Ibrahiim (as) was always praying for others too.
The Prophet (saw) was sent with these tasks [ayah 129]
Recite to people the verses of the Qur'an
Teach people the Book and wisdom
Purify the people
