Quentin Tarantino also produced many other films , that were also very successful which can be shown next...
Alfred created 13 steps to turn a boring film into what's known as a Hitchcock Thriller linking in again with Auteur's theory as this style is shown in all his thriller films.
Step 1 -Aim the movie at the audience which Alfred stated "Nothing is more important than how the film will affect the view"
Step 2- Frame the emotion. This means when acting you should make the audience experience the emotion as well.
Step 3- Camera is not a camera. The camera should take on human qualities, roaming the room looking for something suspicious.
Step 4- Dialogue means nothing. A characters must be pre-occupied with something during a dialogue scene. Their eyes can then be distracted while the other person doesn't notice. This is a good way to pull the audience into a character's secretive world.
Step 5-POV editing. Where you take the eyes of the characters and add something for the audience to look at. which helps to build tension.
Step 6-Montage Gives You Control. Divide action into a series of close-ups shown in succession. Don't avoid this basic technique.
Altogether Hitchcock worked on around 80 films either directing , writing , producing or doing something other but still involved in them . His most famous films include Psycho , Rebecca ,suspicion , Rope ,Bon Voyage and many more.
