/-ism/ Derivational suffix which implies the practice or belief in something. Example: Criticism.
/-ment/ Derivational suffix which turns a word into a noun. Example: Settlement.
/-er/; /-or/ Derivational suffix. It turns a verb into a noun as the performer of such action. The allomorph may cause troubles in some learners. Example: Advisor.
/-able/ Derivational suffix. It turns a word into an adjective for meaning 'able to'. Example: Reasonable.
/-ate/ Derivational suffix which turns the word into a literal meaning for a verb; to produce or cause determined effect. Example: Imitate.
/-ence/ Derivational suffix which inplies tha action of something. Performance. Example: Delincuence.
/-ing/ Derivational suffix which turns the verb into a noun (the action itself) or adjective. Example: Driving.
/-ile/ Derivational suffix. It implies being in a certain manner. Example: Futile.
/-'s/ Inflectional suffix meaning the possession of something. Example: Grey's anatomy.
/-est/ Inflectional suffix meaning the superlative of an adjective. Example: Strongest.
/an-/ Negative prefix which implies the negation of the concept whom it is attached to. Example: Agnostic.
/pan-/ Quantity prefix which determines the range of accuracy of a word. Example: Pantheism.
/post-/ Spatial prefix. It commands an after situation when added to the word. Example. Postseason.
/re-/ Spatial prefix which implies 'back' in an action or circumstance. Example: Remake.
/dys-/ Negative prefix meaning 'bad' or done in a wrong manner. Example: Dysfunction.
/dis-/ Spatial prefix meaning 'apart' when added to a word. Example: Dismantle.
/anti-/ Spatial prefix which provides the word with an opposite meaning. Example: Antihero.
/inter-/ Spatial prefix which implies in the middle of something, between. Example: Interaction.
/de-/ Intensive prefix which adds a 'very' tone to the meaning of the word. Example: Denote.
/pre-/ Spatial prefix meaning the 'before something', mostly providing a slightly opposite range. Example: Preconception.
