Questão Responda
What is acceleration? A change of speed per unit unit time. If the speed is increasing the object is accelerating. Of the speed is decreasing the object is decelerating.
What is the area under the speed time graph equal to? The distance travelled.
What's the formula for measuring acceleration? Acceleration= change in speed or velocity/time taken.
What does a negative acceleration show? The car is decelerating.
What is velocity? It's a vector. It has both size speed and direction. When two cars are moving past each other their relative velocity is the sum of their individual velocities. When going in different directions. The difference in their velocities if going in same direction.
Why does a driver need to apply a force towards the centre of the roundabout? To change direction. This gives the vehicle an acceleration directed towards the centre of the round about.
What happens when an object moves along a circular path? It moves at a tangent to the circle or arc of a circle.
