| What did Woodworths (1899) study into visual feedback do? What did it find? | Tested the effects of making movements with and without visual feedback. He found that for very short actions we don't need or cant use visual feedback to help the outcome of the action because we don't have time to process the information before it is too late. He also found that giving visual feedback for longer movements improved performance. |
| Give the two areas of potential error in a movement. Give approximate times before each error is corrected. | Incorrect motor program selection (120-200ms), Incorrect motor program execution (30-50ms). |
