Cinematography: What we wish to recreate
  1. The close up on the face with the transition of the legs behind give an indication of the narrative of the song. The picture behind of the legs, conforms to Laura Maulveys theory of male gaze, by making the women appear naked. It also shows her vulnerability to the way she's portrayed. For example her vulnerability to sexualisation and society.
    1. The women here is dressed up, the idea of her wearing 'fur' and a 'top hat' goes back to a victorian advertisement of wealth. However the use of her lifeless skin and expression shows how having wealth does not nessarcily mean happiness. This conforms to Micheal Shore's theory of recycled cliche imagery that reflects common issues of morality.
      1. This picture, is an easier one to recreate. However the long legs how a striking impact on the audience. This gives a negative representation of females from the narrative. The audience view that she is passed out- perhaps from being drunk or using drugs. For a teenage audience this can be comical and relatable, this is why we wish to use this particuar in image in our own video.
        1. This image is something that we also think would be powerfully recreated as an image to accompany the narrative. The whiteness of the teeth contrasting the dark red lips connotes danger and attraction of opposites. This conforms to Andrew Goodwins theory of visual art to portray a message.
          1. The image showing a funeral hat reflects a mourning, possibily following the narrative- the mourning of a loss of culture from society. This can reflect how women are left suffering because of the sexualisation of society.
            1. The use of the eye here reflects heavily on the narrative, it shows how the eye holds emotion because of everything it has seen. Making the link between parts of the body and female vulnerability, conforms to the theory of visual art presented by Anfrew Goodwin.
