1. Gradient of the line represents objects speeed
2. Steeper the line, faster the object
3. Speed=Distance/time
4. The speed of an object is distance in 1s
Velocity and acceleration
1. Velocity is speed in a given direction
2. If an object changes speed it changes velocity
3. Acceleration=final velocity-initial velocity/time

  1. If the value is negative they are decelerating

  1. If line is negative object is decelerating
2. If the line is horizontal, acceleration=0 so steady speed
3. The area under the line is distance travelled
