Formulation of the Problem (Leedy pg 31) State the problem clearly and completely - condensed into 1 sentence. Think through the feasibility of the project that the problem implies - it should be possible for you to conduct the research. Say exactly what you mean - absolute honesty and integrity in every statement a scholar makes. State the problem in a way that reflects an open mind about its solution - you cannot imply the results or outcome of your study in your problem statement.
