 to find nth term you see the difference between the numbers and then see how far away the 1st number is from the difference.

q5a) the line has a gradient of 3 and it passes through (0,5). y=3x+5b) line has a gradient of 2 and passes through (3,5) y=2x+5c) he line passes through (0,1) and (1,5) to get gradient you put difference  in y over difference in x y=4x+1

 you get answer by doing the gradient and putting that before x and then uses the 2nd coordinate and puts it after x.
