These are the adverbs of frequency, from the most frequent to the least. Always, often/usually, sometimes, rarely, never. They are between the subject and the verb, except for the verb BE. EXAMPLES: I always go to the cinema on mondays. I never play football on tuesdays. I rarely eat pasta on wednesdays. I am always happy. She is never excited.
