Slide 1

    Questionnaire and responses..

Slide 2

    Caption: : question 2
we asked the standard question regarding gender. because we needed to see if this effected the responses and if there was specific data relevant to males or  females, and if this varied within the age ranges.

Slide 3

    Caption: : question 3
This was asked to split our responses for those who enjoyed this genre and for those he did not. this is because this is a very emotive genre some people can be very terrified and would never watch these. so it was important to weed out these responses as they would vastly slant the datathe results of this this was clear that most people did enjoy horror films, its interesting to split this audience with other questions asked.

Slide 4

    Caption: : question 4
we asked this question to get a feel for what other genres our target audience enjoyed as well as the horror genre. we thought there may be inks for example action in horror would be a common association or things like comedy and romance ect.. we were keen to see if horror was linked to one of the other genres. the results for this were quite interesting because comedy was by far the most popular followed by romance then down to core horror and action. this showed that people like something within the movie to relieve the tension and horror. the straight horror and violent movies tend to be less popular maybe only for the hard core.

Slide 5

    Caption: : question 5
we needed this to help us identify what we needed to incorporate into our film. the plot was by far the most important followed by the thrill. and music. this was also Bourne out from other questions because people wanted something  to capture there intrusts as well as pure violence and horror.

Slide 6

    Caption: : question 6
this was important to establish so that responses from people who only very acciousionly watch horror movies could be separated from those who always and regularely watch the movies. we also thought this would be an interesting additional indicator for there responses. what we where seeking was to establish if the other responses where effected by people being desensitized to horror. most people either watched no films or one or two a  month. a small percentage watched up to 6 films a month.

Slide 7

This was an important question because it effected how we made the film and what media we put it on, ie something sutiable for tv, computer or cinema. for example for people who like to watch on the computer,we wanted the medium in which what we saved the film to be compatible with social media, for example YouTube.

Slide 8

    Caption: : question 8
we thought this was a natural question to ask to identify how people who love horror movies taste veried within the genre. we thought this would be key because we can plan what our audience would apprieciate and enjoy the film we make. from the graph shown it can clearly be seen that comodie horror sub genre was by far the most liked. followed by supernatural the rest were very even.
