    The term ‘scale of production’ is all about the quantity of products that you’re going to manufacture.  There are FOUR main categories:- Jobbing/one off Production Batch Production Mass/Flow Production Continuous Production

Slide 2

    The type of production chosen depends on the market type. If large quantities of the same item is required then MASS PRODUCTION is used. If an individual item is required then JOBBING/ONE OFF PRODUCTION is used.
