Transcription is the art, or skill, of taking notes and there are many ways to transcribe information including but are not limited to writing/typing/sketching/photographing or copying info.

In other words, transcribing is making note of anything that will help you in the way that best fits you.

Different ways to take notes include but are not limited to making Bullet/Power Points, Outlines, concept maps, sketches, lists, questions, key words/phrases, and one-pagers.

One-pagers are a single-set study guide that can be used to review for tests, quizzes, final exams or other measurements of learning called assessments.

Examples of one-pagers including but are not limited to summaries, synopses and anything else that only takes up 1 page.

Taking notes is one way to study, or try to learn and other learning strategies include but are not limited to reading the chapters in your textbooks/headings on your hand-outs or other class materials.

Research is another learning strategy that involves looking up information and there are materials available online as well as offline that can help you in your classes, on the job, and in your everyday lives at large.

Review Games are another example of a study skill and you can create your own games with your very own questions that relate to any or all of your classes.

Creative expression is another example of a learning strategy that can facilitate adaptation in spite of logistical, environmental, and societal constraints at large.
