The cerebellum is in control of motor movements and receives information from the sensory systems, the spinal cord, and another parts of the brain.  

Pons regulate and control vital functions.

The medulla is responsible for autonomic functions.

The reticular formation is an area of neurons running through the middle of the medulla and the pons and slightly beyond that is responsible for selective attention 

The Amygdala Is part of the limbic system and plays an important role in emotion and behavior.

The hippocampus plays a important role in the limbic system and is associated with creating new memories

 The olfactory bulbs are associated with your sense of smell. It sends olfactory information to the amygdala.
