the common difference is 3 in the arithmetic sequence 4, 7, 10, 13, . . .
Properties and Formulas
Arithmetic Sequence
The form for the rule of an arithemetic sequence is A(n) = a + (n - 1)d, where A(n) is the nth term, a is the first term, n-1 is the term number, and d is the common difference
Find the tenth term of the sequence that has the rule A(n) = 32 + (n - 1)(-2)
A(10) = 32 + (10 - 1)(-2)

5(7) = k --> xy = 35
Finding the Missing Coordinate

*Vertical-Line Test (graph below)
A line would pass through (3,0) and (3,2), so the relation is not a function

Solutions of Systems of Linear Equations
A system of linear equations can have one solution, no solution, or infinitely many solutions
If the lines have different slopes, the lines intersect, so there is one solution.
If the lines have the same slopes and different y-intercepts, the lines are parallel, so there are no solutions.
If the lines had the same slopes and the same y-intercept, the lines are the same, so there are infinitely many solutions.
