verbo "ser" en pasado:

Was: se usa con las personas en singular: YO y EL/ELLA Seguido de "a" si la siguiente palabra empieza por consonante o "an" si es por vocal Y NO ES UN VERBO, si es un verbo no se pone nada.

Were: se usa con las personas en plural mas las segunda persona del singular: TU; Nosotros; vosotros; Ellos no se añade "a" ni "an".

Explicacion:

Verbo "haber" en pasado: "habia":

There was: se usa cuando se habla de una cosa sola, en singula, seguido de "a" o "an".

There were: se usa cuando hablamos de un conjunto de cosas, en plural, no seguido de nada.

Past simple of regular verbs: pasado simple de verbos regulares:

Si el verbo que vamos a conjugar en pasado acaba con una "e"

Ejemplo: "like"

Entonces SOLO le añadimos una "d" al final.

Ejemplo: "liked"

Si el verbo que vamos a conjugar NO acaba con una "e"

Ejemplo: "call"

Entonces le añadimos las dos, le añadimos "ed" al final.

Ejemplo: "called"

Cuando la expresion es en negativo, el verbo se queda en infinitivo y delante del verbo ponemos "didn't" sea en un plural o en singular siempre es "didn't"

Ejemplo: He "didn't" like chocolate.
