Mobile phones use a small display so work is harder to see on screen
Networks can be unsafe to use so, more at risk to hackers
  8. 8What is a PDA?PDA stands for personal digital assistant, it is a handheld device which acts as a computer by allowing internet and network features and telephone calls.
  9. 9What are the advantages of a PDA?It has active GPS
It shares information with a PC
It has a PIM calendar which manages contacts and lists
It is portable so work can be done on the move
Allows direct messaging, email and phone calls to be made
  10. 10What are some disadvantages of a PDAThe cost of purchasing the hardware can be expensive
The user may have to subscribe to a usage contract which charges them monthly for free calls, text messaging, data used etc
It can cause a distraction when focusing on work or driving
It can potentially get stolen if used outside of the business

  15. 15What is Artificial Intelligence? It is the ability of a computer to perform tasks such as reasoning and learning that human intelligence is capable of doing.
  16. 16What are some advantages of Artificial Intelligence?Reduces errors as the coding is specific
Allows repetitive jobs to be done efficiently e.g. the assembly line
Machines do not need breaks but humans do
    No need to pay robots
  17. 17What are some disadvantages of Artificial Intelligence?High manufacturing cost
Lacks creativity as it is created by code so, there is no AI input when making decisions
    Increases unemployment for employees
Artificial Intelligence is more prone to hacking and is only designed for a specific purpose whereas, humans are not
  18. 18What are Biometrics?Biometrics measures and analyses specific human characteristic in order to correctly identify an individual.

Helps to save time as the user does not need a key to enter a room but can use a fingerprint scanner etc instead so, time isnt wasted looking for the correct key.
  20. 20What are some disadvantages of Biometrics? The costs of biometric devices is high in relation to traditional security devices such as locks.
