- 2faultA malfunction of Once Upon a Time of a system.
- 3Incremental backupA backup in which only data that has changed since the last full or incremental backup is copied to a storage medium.
- 4First respondera person with training or certifications and handling evidence in such a way as to preserve its admissibility in court
- 5Snapshota frequently saved incremental backup of the data has State at a specific point in time typically containing only information about changes made since the last backup and not capable of being used to fully restore lost data
- 6Incidentany idiot large or small that has adverse effects on a network availability or resources
- 7AttenuationGay loss of a signal strength as it travels away from its source
- 8(FDM) Frequency Division MultiplexingA type of multiplexing that assigns a unique frequency band to eat Communications sub panel signals are modulated with different carrier frequency and Multiplex to simultaneously travel over a single Channel
- 9Fast etherneta type of ethernet Network that is capable of 100-mbps throughput
- 10RG-6a type of coaxial cable with an impedance right of 75 ohms and an 18 AWG cord conductor RG6 is used for Television Satellite and Broadband cable connections
- 11Speed and duplex mismatchA problem that occurs when they bring devices are using different speed or
- 12(RFI) radio frequency interferenceA kind of electromagnetic interference that can be generated by
- 13(TDM) time division multiplexinga method of multiplexing that assigns a time slot in the flow of communication to every node on the network and in that time slot carries data from that knows
- 14(Next) Near End CrosstalkCrosstalk that occurs between wire pairs near the source of a signal
- 15BNC connectorA coaxial cable connector type that uses a
- 16(MTTR) Mean Time To RepairThe average amount of time required to repair a device or restore a service
- 17(DiffServ) Differentiated Servicesa technique for ensuring qos by prioritizing traffic
- 18Redundant power circuitMultiple Pathways for providing power to
- 19Disaster recoveryprocess of restoring critical functionality and data to a network after an enterprise-wide outage
- 20(FC) Fibre Channela storage networking architecture that runs separately from ethernet networks to maximize speed of data storage and access
- 21(VRRP) Virtual Router redundancy protocola standard that assigns a virtual IP address to a group of routers
- 22Automatic failoverin the event of a component failure, the ability of a redundant component to immediately assume the duties of the failed component.
- 23(EF) Expedited forwardingA DiffServ forwarding specification that assigns each state extreme a minimum departure rate from a getting snowed
- 24Packet Droppackets that are damaged Beyond use, arrived after their expiration or are not allowed through an interface..
- 25Incident response policya document specifically defining the characteristics of an event that qualifies as a formal incident and the steps that should be followed as a result
- 26(SAN) storage area networka distinct network of storage devices that communicate directly with each other and with other networks
- 27(CARP) Common Address Redundancy ProtocolA protocol that allows a pool of computers or interfaces to share one or more IP addresses.
- 28Redundancyuse of more than one identical components, device, or connection for storing processing or transporting data
- 29(AF) assured forwardinga DiffServ forwarding specification that prioritizes data handling but provides no guarantee that out on a busy Network messages will arrive on time and in sequence
- 30Warm Sitea place where they computers, devices and connectivity that are necessary to rebuild a network, exists through only some are appropriately configured updated or connected to match the network skirt steak
- 31(IB) infinite banda storage networking architecture that serves a few Niche a markets and falls on the typical end of the installation and configuration Spectrum
- 32Fault tolerancecapacity of a system to continue running despite unexpected Hardware or software malfunction
- 33Backupa copy of data or program files created for archiving or safekeeping
