Step 1: Empty the stool in the bag into a cap covered with a plastic bag and discard it.

Cap + Plastic Bag = Easy discarding of stool

Step 2: Once pouch is empty, remove it by pushing the bag downward, away from the body

Step 3: Using warm water, cleanse the skin around the stoma.

Avoid using soap or anything containing perfumes or oils = irritants to the skin

Step 4: Ensure the replacement bag is the same size as the previous bag and cut the sticking portion of the pouch according to the stoma size.

Step 5: Place the pouch firmly over the stoma and hold it in place for a minute to make sure it is appropriately placed.

Additional: Use cavilon wipes around the stoma so the bag can stick well

Step 6: Ensure the bag is adequately clipped on by burping the air out.
