         • Sacrocotyloid diameter: 9cm
   • Pelvic Outlet
     • Anteroposterior diameter 13 cm
     • Oblique diameter 12 cm
     • Transverse diameter 11 cm
   • Pelvic Cavity
     • Anterior Wall
       • Pubic bones and symphysis pubis
       • Diameter: 4 cm

2. LIMITS

   • LESSER PELVIS
     • Is a short, curved canal, deeper on its posterior than on its anterior wall
     • Posteriorly: Sacrum and coccyx
     • Laterally and anteriorly: Lower ilium, ischium and pubis bones
   • GREATER PELVIS
     • Supports the intestines and transmits part of their weight to the anterior wall of abdomen.
     • Posteriorly: Lumbar vertebrae
     • Laterally: Iliac bones
     • Anteriorly: Abdominal wall
