Christian responses to the problem of Evil

Christian responses to the problem of Evil

1. Some Christians believe that Evil and suffering is a test given by God to humans for a 'test of faith' so see if we will remain truthful to him like the story of Job

2. Most Christians believe that evil is a result of Human being using their freewill to make a wrong choice

   • Others believe that evil is needed to understand goodness

3. Coping with Suffering

   • Christians believe that God understands about suffering just like we do, because he watched his one and only son die on the cross
   • Christians believe that God is loving and compassionate, they also believe he is aware of human suffering and cares about the feelings of his people
   • Christians believe God has a plan for them from when they are born until they die and things happen for a reason. They believe God is always there to listen to us when we need him most and he tries to do the best solution he can to make things better for us
