1. WHAT IS A FIREWALL?

   • Program that allows managing and filtering all incoming and outgoing traffic between 2 networks or computers of the same network.

2. Firewall Network Security Plan

   • Firewalls let in only safe and relevant data when protecting a private network or computer system. It monitors and reports any unauthorized access and automatically blocks and decrypts

3. Packet Filtering

   • This is the basic form of firewall protection, where packets are checked for inappropriate or suspicious content and then flagged if the firewall finds any.

4. Stateful Inspection

   • Extra information about packets, including the origin, allows scanning them to check if they are part of an existing connection.

5. Proxy Service

   • This service acts between systems, and proxy firewalls keep direct connections from being established between both sides.
