1. Challenges

   • Maintain a good discipline
   • More students with different ways of learning
   • Cannot focus on individual needs
   • Less teaching aids

2. Helpful techniques

   • Set up rules, discuss them with the class
   • Plan various activities in case that you have only one book
   • Assign group projects in which each group member will have their own special task

3. Advantages

   • SS can share many different ideas and interesting life experiences
   • SS learn to share responsibility and help each other
   • Brings variety and accelerate the work

4. Discipline

   • Use the environment outside the classroom to reduce boredness
   • Name responsible group leaders to maintain discipline
   • Set up a code of behavior created by ss and teacher altogether

5. Group work

   • Organize the groups to suit the children's abilities
     • These can be mixed-abilities or same-abilities groups
   • Supervise the groups to check progress and solve incoming problems
   • Group work is especially helpful if you have a few books, you can give one per group
     • If you have only one book, let each group have some time with it. The others can work onactivities related to what they're going to read
