- Afirmativo
- Se utiliza el mismo verbo o auxiliar con el que se este hablando, y se pregunta en negativo.

- Negativo
- Se utiliza el mismo verbo o auxiliar con el que se esta hablando y se transcribe en forma de pregunta en positivo
- Ejemplo

- Ejemplo
- Se utiliza el mismo verbo o auxiliar con el que se esta hablando y se transcribe en forma de pregunta en positivo
- En español significaria
- -¿Verdad?- ¿no es cierto?- ¿O si?- etc.
- Sin verbo "to be"
- Se utiliza el auxiliar en el tiempo que se presenta
- She does not know how to drive?
- Se utiliza el auxiliar en el tiempo que se presenta
