1. CODING

   • Coding is the buiding block of the all qualitative analysis. This is the process of analyzing qualitative text data by takig them apart to see what they yield before putting the data back together in a meaningful way
     • CODE: word or phrase which represents a single idea
     • INITIAL CODING
       • REVISITING INITIAL CODING
         • DEVELOPING AN INITIAL LIST OF CATEGORIES
           • MODIFYING INITIAL LIST BASED ON ADDITIONAL REREADING
             • REVISITING YOUR CATEGORIES AND SUBCATEGORIES
               • MOVING FROM CATEGORIES TO CONCEPTS
                 • Identify key concepts taht reflect the meaning what attach to the data you collect
               • Revising the list of categories and remove redundancies and identify critical elements
             • Includes to choose some of the categories more important or combine them to the recognition of important concepts
           • Process that organizes the codes into categories. Refers to elaborate one long list of codes into several lists of categories
         • Process based to examine for removing redundancies, renaming synonyms or clarifying terms
       • SIX STEPS
       • Initial Coding process involves taking an idea of what the overall data looks like

2. CATEGORIZING

   • Categorizing is a major composing of qualitative data analysis by which researcher experiments to organize standards data observed into meaningful units or categories
     • CATEGORY: word or phrase to describe a group of codes

3. CONCEPTS

   • Theory that interprets and summarizes the information epistemiology
     • CONCEPT: word or phrase to describe broader, overarching idea
