1. USES.

   • We use the past simple to descibe actions to finals in the past.

2. STRUCTURE.

   • OTHER VERBS.
     • 1.(+) Subject + verb in past + complements. 2. (-)Subject+ didn't + verb infinive + complements. 3. (?)Did + subject + verb infinitive + complements?
       • Examples: 1. You played football / She ate pizza. 2. You didn't play football / She didn't eat pizza. 3. Did you play football? / Did she eat pizza?
   • VERB TO BE.
     • 1.(+) Subject + was/were + complements. 2. (-)Subject + wasn't / weren't + complements 3. (?) Was / were + subject + complements?
       • Examples: 1. I was happy. 2. I wasn't happy. 3. Was I happy?
