1. Subject Pronoun

   • usados para substituir os sujeitos
     • I, you, he, she, it, we, they

2. Object Pronoun

   • substituir os objetos diretos ou indiretos
     • Eles sempre devem vir após verbos ou preposições
       • I love Bob. (Eu amo o Bob). I love him. (Eu o amo)
         • me, you, him, her, it, us, you, them

3. Possessive Pronoun

   • substitui um possessive adjective
     • This is my house. This house is mine
       • mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs
   • Indefinite possessive
     • "a" + object + "of" + subject + "s"
       • to express the possessive case when the object is indefinite
         • She's a colleague of my brother's
     • The similar expression
       • "a" + object + "of" possessive pronoun
         • Peter is a nice cousin of mine
     • This same construction is possible with the negative article "no"
       • He is no friend of mine

4. Possessive Ajective

   • my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their

5. Reflexive Pronoun

   • A ação recai sobre o sujeito. I cut myself
   • o pronome deve combinar com aquilo que está se enfatizando.
     • He himself built his house. I myself cut the cake.
   • tem-se a intenção de informar que o sujeito praticou a ação sozinho, sem a ajuda de ninguém. Nesse caso, o pronome reflexivo deve vir precedido por “by”.
     • We did our homework by ourselves. (Nós fizemos o nosso dever de casa sozinhos).
       • She cleaned the house by herself. (Ela limpou a casa sozinha).
