Will vs Going to
It is used to express a promise, a prediction or something that you want to do in the future.
- We use will to talk about the future when we are not quite sure what is going to happen, so we say what we think will happen.
- Common mistake: Forget about will in the sentence I see you later is a mistake you have to avoid. It correct is I’ll see you later (Te see later).
- for instance: My team will win on Sunday.
- Remember that if we talk about the future, we use the future and not the present. Say: I'll call you tomorrow, although in Spanish you would say: I'll call you tomorrow.
