Different quantitative approach method
Experimental or non-experimental, according to the type of strategies, methodology, and procedures the type of research is chosen.
- The experimental designs classigy in 3 levels, and the non-experimental are classified depending on the moment in which data is collected.
Exploratory investigation
- are performed when the objecive is to determine an issue, the exploratory researhc indicates the variables or factors that could be related to the phenomenon study. Exploratory research is a useful step when the researcher has a limited amount of experience.
- this type of research begins with a phenomenon.it can originate from two perspecives: a nwe topic or approaching a topic from a new perspective.

Non-experimental is very common in the quantitative research, because is very easy frothe r esults to originate fromsubjectivity and intersabjectivity sources, in collection and processing information.
DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH
- This research seeks to specify the porperties, characteristics, and profiles of people, groups, communities, processess, objects, or other phenomenon.
- Identify how an event occurs
- classify events in a context
- Detect the appearance of an event, when, how, and where its occurs.
- Descrive the development, progress, or change of an event over time.
- This research seeks to specify the porperties, characteristics, and profiles of people, groups, communities, processess, objects, or other phenomenon.
Correlational studies
- a correlation is defined as a relationship between 2 variables, concepts, or aspects, it describes the linear relationship beteen 2 or more variables.
- studies are correlational when evaluating the degree of association between tow or more varibales, they measure each one of them, and hen quantify and analyze the bonding. Statistiocal methods offer a measure of the degree of linear association beteen the variables.
- Example. correlation between grade on a test an d the number of minutes.
- relationship between variables to propose an investiation, isolate ot control them in a design experiemtnal, understand the resuls, of a study and a design experimentla, to propose predictive models of variables through regression.

Explanatory research
- Purpose: which varibale is the cause and wich varible affects, explain a phenomenon or situation in terms of why, how, and what conditions occur on empirical evidences, make abstactations systematically from natural complexity, verify experimentaly what the laws establish about he causes of certain phenomena.
Associated design
- Depth explanatoryor confirmatory studies seek to rest the cause-effect relationships beteen variables linked to a phenomenon.
- iN EXPERIMENTAL DESIGNS: WE MUST CONSIDER RANDOM, SELECTION, MANIPULATION, CONTROL, AND RANDOMIZATION.
Projects research
- Its based on the proposal. the design is also a process of discovering goals to achieve and restrictions to satisfy. the projects have support in a documentary type investigation.
- PROPOSE SOLUTIONS TO PORBLEMS DIAGNOSED FROM THE CONTEXT OF THE SUBJECTS.
- pROPOSE ACTIONS TO PROBLEMS DIAGNOSED FROM THE CONTEXT, PROPOSE ACTION PLANS.
- PROJECTIVE RESEARHC INVOLVES A DESCRIPTICVE NON-EXPERIEMTNAL DESING PHASE LINKED DIAGNOSIS, IT INCLUDES AN EXPERIEMENTAL DESING IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF DIAGNOSED PROBLEM

Non-experimental design
- are used to collect data and achieve research objectives.
From the time perspective of measurement
- Longitudinal: the intention is to describe changes in the phenomenon over time.
- Cross-sectional or cross-sectional: in this designs, teh data is copllected in a just moment. to describe the phenomenon.
- Cohort studies: combine the transversal and longitudinal designs.
- Suvey studies: asking questions directly to the object of study
- Case study: it is used to study and describe the components of a ohenomenon.
- Population studies: seek to describe the variables associated with the phenoenon ion the population, you could statestical techniques for the selection of a sample on whcih measurements will be made.
- Documentary: the data sources are previous studies, statistical documents, censuses.
Experimental designs: in the literature review there are differen classifications of exeriemntal designs. these designs can be pre-experimental; the selection of the subject is not random is used with a single individual, pure experimental; random assigment to groups, quasi experiemntal; is used when it is not proctical or its simply not possible for the random selection.
