1. via sea.

   • disadvantages
     • can take a very long time in comparison to there methods
     • seasickness can occur
     • pretty expensive as you are paying for accommodation on top of the travel
     • short trips can be very dull, inefficient, and costly.
     • cruise ship are one of the worst options for the enviroment emmiting more carbon per passenger than flying.
   • advantages
     • the boat ride is an experience itself and is often very scenic.
     • fun and social
     • often the only way to get to specific, more rural areas
     • generally fresh, good seafood
     • can have own separate rooms and beds included

2. via rail

   • disadvantages
     • can be crowded at peak times or if on a popluar route
     • can be loud/bumpy if the train is old or damaged
     • whilst most are not, some trans in particuluar can be expensive
     • prices for different types of tickets and different routes can be confusing
     • may have to get on multiple trains to get to a specific destenations
     • trains can be cancelled or delayed
   • advantages
     • generally quite fast
     • easy to plan and board
     • tons of different routes and destinations to choose from
     • moderately cheap, especially for longer distances
     • includes baggage space and bike on-board bike storage(if reserved)
     • very enviromentally friendly
     • usually comfortable, and comes with first- class options
     • very forgiving if arriving at wrong time

3. via road

   • disadvantages
     • very damaging to the enviroment
     • maintenance required frequently s cars breakdown often
     • most dangerous option out of all of the methods, with an average of 26,446 deaths a year
     • driving training required, and licence papers need to be on hand
   • advantages
     • much more control and freedom over location, route, destination, mid-journey stops and etc
     • much less planning and delays
     • more personalisation, allowing more comfort.
     • useful for reaching locations unavailable on other methods.

4. via air

   • advantages
     • usully the most time efficient method for 500+ mile journeys
     • can be very comfortable if paying for first class flights
     • includes bagage space
     • many different routes and multiple airline providers
   • disadvantages
     • very harmful to the enviroment
     • usually quite exhausting to book, arrive,, and board the flight with little tto no adjustability
     • frequent delays,cancellations and lost items/baggage
     • economy-class flights are often cramped
