Revision Tips

1. List of Topics to Cover

   • Cover lots of subjects at a time
   • Go over stuff i most struggle with in final few weeks
   • Do the difficult parts even if I don't want to
   • Divide topics into small parts to revise

2. Active Revision

   • Make up rhymes/ sayings
   • Stick thing in places to learn them
   • Practice past exam questions/ tests
   • Link things to prior knowledge
   • Write thing over and over again to learn them
   • In books highlight key terms and words
   • Colour code things

3. Prepare a Workplace

   • Somewhere that I won't be disturbed
   • Need:
     • Laptop/ Computer
     • All Books I Need
     • All Stationary I Need
   • Fresh airy room
   • Bright room

4. Keep Calm

   • Have little breaks in-between revision sessions
   • Do something active, like go for a walk, before in-between and after revision sessions
   • Most alert in the late afternoon early evening
   • Give words meanings, picture it
   • Create a revision timetable
