   • Finalidade
     • To, in order to, so that, so as to
       • Ex: They never parked the big van in front of the house in order not to upset the neighbours.
   • Concessão
     • Although, even though, though I, in spite of, however
       • Ex: He went there by car, although she knew that there was a traffic jam.
   • Causa
     • Because, for, as, since
       • Ex: I went home earlier, because I was feeling sick.
   • Tempo
     • When, while, until, as soon as, by the time
       • Ex: The days were hot while we were on vacation.
   • Conjuntive adverbs
     • Advérbios que conectam as orações
     • Futhermore, by the way, hence, meanwhile, nevertheless, therefore, thus etc.
       • Ex: The tire was flat; therefore, we called a service station.

2. Question Tag

   • Confirmar a informação dita na frase
     • Ex: Bob has a new computer, doesn't he?
     • Ex: Open the window, will you?
     • Ex: Let's go to the square, shall we?
   • Pergunta no final da oração
     • Verbo auxiliar + sujeito
       • Ex: I am right, aren't I?
   • A question tag discordará da primeira declaração da frase.
     • Declaração positiva - Q.T. negativa
       • Ex: She is eighteen years old, isn't she?
     • Declaração negativa - Q.T. positiva
       • Ex: Julie isn't your neighbour, is she?
