   • Quarantines any programs or files which are harmful
   • Protects against malicious software
   • Needs updating regularly to make sure that it knows the latest threats
   • Should be used on email attachments
   • Should be used when downloading new software from the internet

   • we use a key to decrypt a message
   • We use encryption to unlock and lock our data/information from others
   • You can tell if a website is using encryption by seeing if there is a padlock next to https
   • Some websites do not require access to your data such as wikipedia
   • Encryption we use everyday are things like phone messages , credit cards and also websites like facebook
