CPU registers
  1. Memory Address Register (MAR)
    1. Stores the address in memory from which data will be fetched to the CPU
      1. Or stores the address to which data will be sent and stored
      2. Memory Data Register (MDR)
        1. Contents of the address specified in the MAR are copied to the MDR
          1. This may be an operation or an instruction
          2. Current Instruction Register (CIR)
            1. Contents of the MDR are copied to the CIR if it is an instruction
              1. Stores the current instruction waiting to be decoded and executed
              2. Program Counter (PC)
                1. Holds the memory address of the next instruction
                  1. Contains the address of the instructions being executed at the current time
                  2. Accumulator (ACC)
                    1. Stores the results of calculations
                      1. All 1/0 goes through the accumulator
