TYPES OF MALWARE

1. VIRUS

   • this is a programm that install on the computer without the user´s consent with the aim of causing harm
     • TROJAN
       • HIJACKERS
         • these are programs that hijacks other programs to use their behaviour the most common case is brower attack chnaging the home page
       • ADWARE
         • from adeware software adware is advertising included in programs that appears after installation . some of this comes with share ware or freeware where advertasing is included to pay for them
       • this is a type of virus that contains instrucion camoufaged in another program whose purpose is to destroyed or gather information saved in disk the name is referring to a trojan horse

2. KEYLOGER

   • From keyloger .This a type of software that attemps to obtain and memorise keystores

3. WORM

   • this is a malware whose purpose is to flood the system by r3eprocuding itself

4. SPYWARE

   • not all syware is a malware spyware programs with malicious code are basically trojans adware and hijackers
