1. Frequency Density=Frequency/ Class width

2. Creating the histogram

   • Use this table to create a histogram
   • 1) Use the data to find class width of the frequency
     • 2) Using these frequency density results create a suitable scale for the histogram
       • 3)Plot your frequency density values on the histogram

3. Using histogram to find values

   • 1) Work out the frequency using the histogram.
     • 2) Do this by working out the area of a bar. (Frequency density x class width)

4. Why a histogram?

   • Easily shows the proportions of data in class widths
     • This is why it looks different to a bar chart
