1. Energy

   • Nine types of energy
     • Heat
       • Heat Transfer
         • Conduction
           • Vibrating particles pass on the heat energy
         • Convection
           • Substance becomes less dense as heated particles move
         • Radiation
           • Heat is transferred in waves
     • LIght
     • Sound
     • Nuclear
     • Gravitational Potential
     • Electric
     • Chemical Potential
     • Elastic Potential
   • The Law of Conservation of Energy
     • Energy cannot be created or destroyed only transferred from one form to another.
   • Equations
     • Efficiency
       • Useful Energy / Total Energy In
     • Weight
       • Mass X Gravitational Constant (10)
     • Work Done
       • Force X Distance
     • Power
       • Work Done / Time taken

2. Solids, Liquids and Gases

   • Equations
     • Density
       • Mass / Volume
     • Pressure
       • Force / Area
     • Pressure Difference
       • h X p x g
         • h= height difference
         • p= density
         • g= gravitational constant (10)
   • Solid to a liquid is melting
   • Liquid to a solid is freezing
   • Liquid to a gas is evaporation
     • Brownian motion is evidence of gas particles moving
   • Gas to a liquid is condensing
   • 0K = -273 C

3. Waves

   • The Electromagnetic Spectrum
     • Radio Waves
     • Microwaves
     • Infrared Radiation
     • Visible Light
     • Ultra Violet Light
     • Gamma Rays
     • X- Rays
   • Equations

   • Refraction
     • Light Changes Medium
     • Going in angle of incidence bends towards norml
       • Opposite going out
